Teusday April 25th 1826

My dear Thomas
I have just received your long
what shall I say (discontented) letter but I am not
surprised at it as I feel equally uneasy
as yourself and cannot fathom the [indecipherable]
meaning of keeping us so long in suspence
some times I fancy he is waiting to see
how Mrs K conducts the School that
he may give us Bathurst I cannot
believe he is displeased with you now
that he understands the case; and hope
that you will not do any thing rashly which
will only be making things worse
You must excuse the shortness of this
I will write again on Thursday I have
been extremely ill from an attack of the
[indecipherable] I sent for some of my Sister's
