My dear Thomas
I wrote to you last Tuesday
as I mentioned in it that I had been
ill I feel assured your affectionate heart
will be anxious untill you hear again and
I am happy to-morrow is the Post day that
I may inform you I am now quite recovered
and the dear Baby weans very well. I think
I have recived all yours and was very happy
to find your spirits were revived on
James arrival. With regard to my coming
up I am quite in a de lemma; I as not like
to subject the Children to so much fatigue
unnecessarily which would be the case
if I had to return shortly. neither am I
reconcile to myself the idea of leaving them
for an uncertain period I should be uncom
