Augt 6 Saturday Visited the [indecipherable] preached there on Sunday the 7th returned to Newcastle Monday left on Thursday & arrived in Sydney Friday 12 Augst

Decr 23 Heard of the Loss of the [Heneriatta?] with all my baggage was thankful no lives were lost -

Janry Mo [Monday?] 9 Society for promoting [Cxn?] knowledge formed

10 Left Parra in Company with the Revd Mr Keane for Bathurst & arrived at OConnel Plains on Thursday the 17th Friday Visited Mr Street-

15 Sunday - Preached at Bro [indecipherable] in the morng & Mr Kean preached at Bro James in the Afternoon - Detained from Visiting Bathurst until Saturday 21 when we were prevented from crossing the River until too late & therefore Visited the Settlers & warned them that there would be service tomorrow

Sunday 22 Went to the fording places but wd not cross I spoke to Mr Cheshire about about the use of the school as a temporary chapel & obtained leave for the same

April 2 Went to Bathurst Preached there in the morg fm 6 John 35 & in the afternoon at ye School Room from 35 Gen 2-3- Slept at Capt Fennels & re-turned on Monday, came to the Streets & came home on Tuesday Morg -

Suy 9th Preached from [Haggai?] 1/5- & in the Afternoon from John 4/46-50 in the eveng came to Mr Streets - accom= =panied them to OConnel Pains on Thursday & to Bathurst on Tuesday & retd home on Wednesday eveng - Saturday wrote the Coln Secry according to form for Samuel Clay & Eliza Jones-

Allenvale House April 16 - 1826

My Dear Mrs Hassall I much regret that I should not have been able to write long before this to acknowledge the receipt of your very kind letter which arrived by the Jinmarth? Hill; I wanted ? this friend to see Mr Bedford Junr would pay the 10£ part he has never get sore it (and I find by the paper that he is going to England) I nevertheless feel eternally obliged to you and your Dear Mother for your very kind attention towards me. Did you receive a little parcel and a letter by Mr Heddall ?written some months ago, he has been here since he left Sidney but I have not seen him to inquire after you; I sincerely hope you are pretty well, and that you and now fixd at the Cou Pastures it being the place you seemed to approve of, more on account of its vicinity to Parramatta.
