My dear James
I have just received your letter and Georges Should George
require a Coat & Trousers I think he could get both at Mr.
Thompsons very reasonably I should recommend that his
trousers be a strong dark grey or something of that kind -
Thompson's have some light Coats (Black) which I think would
fit George or they could get them altered & this would last him
for Sundays until the beginning of the year ---

I fear Murphys note is not quite correct but I must endeavour to
see
