My dear Mr Hassell
I have your last from
[Gatton?] & regret exceedingly
that you should have again
been in the district without being
able to pay us a visit. Not state
fair I am sure you must admit
I think my £15 - last year entitled
me to a fair share of visits &
until something is done to ensure
me the same I must refuse to
give my further support. If we
are to support a Missionary I
will do so with pleasure, but
I do not see why I should be
asked to give so much annually
for that which benefits others &
does me no good at all.
