Wednesday 23rd Decr 1818. Left Llaninor for Carmar
then where I spent Christmas day & the Sunday
following with much pleasure & sattisfaction
& returned on Monday 28th Much pleased with
my little tour. The privileges that Christians
enjoy at Camarthen delighted me & that with
the kindness of friends they made me almost
wish to reside in that place.
Thursday 31 Decr The last day of the year -
Read the dedication I made at the beginning
of this year but what a retrospect. How far
short have I fallen. How have I erred & strayed
what time lost - what precious means neglected
& how little have I done for the best of beings.
Quicken thou me O Lord by thy Holy spirit
as I grow in years may I grwo in grace Teach
me Lord & I shall be taught - Make me
bright & shining star and a light in thy Church and
