Saturday 27 June 1818. Received a letter from home
gave me much pleasure (indecipherable) hills also came to
the Lord be praised for all his mercies (indecipherable) (indecipherable) knowledge
with us - Tuesday 30th Heard 2 english & one welch sermon
delivered at the examination - Invitation to study a Sermon
and sing a verse that the birds (?) should not fall to the
ground - "O for a closer walk with God."
Friday 10 July 1818 A large fair here this day (indecipherable)
how "busy" are the people in buying & selling they (indecipherable) satisfied
(indecipherable) Went after dinner to Llansaintfreid (?) to the Rev Herbert
When on Sunday I heard an excellent sermon (indecipherable)
(indecipherable) book I also went with him to Aberystwyth where he
again preached here I joined the partaking of the holy & blessed
ordinance the Lord bless it to my soul & make me
grow in Grace & in every good & perfect gift - attended
two Meeting Houses sermones both in Welch. Monday 13
much struck with those words "set your affection on things
above & not in things of the earth" I how different is
my general walk & conversation felt much pleasure

here. After family prayers felt much comfort in
in meditating upon the Wonders of the Lord. The (indecipherable)
