Since we landed, I really [indecipherable] them & left
them in the Governor's garden where I fear the
very saint here infused them. I took 5 [indecipherable]
sheep from Portsmouth which I received as a
present from his Majesty. four of these I landed
Safe, & two lambs. I think I have been very fortunate
in all these [indecipherable] things - I have collected
many more useful things, & have introduced
into the Colony, every little adds to new Stock
I hope the Settlement will now have a little
quiet & then it will get on better [?]; Money is
very scarce in the Settlement. The Revolution
has checked agriculture so much that there is
not grown sufficient grain for the support
of the inhabitants, so we are compelled to send
