lately being very much struck with
the great nay awful responsiblity
of a Clergyman from the circumstance
of Mrs Wybrow having suddenly
taken ill, and in a day or two given
over by the Doctor. When we
visited her, we found her mind
exceedingly weak - no idea of the
salvation, not even feeling
herself a Sinner before God, and
yet saying she was contented to
die. I asked her what verse in
the Bible afforded her the most
comfort on the approach of Death
she said "the Testament" I then
ascertained for the first time

she could not read of course conse =
quently could know nothing of the
word of God. it was deeply
impressed upon my mind whose blood
which God requires for this woman's
soul. certainly she had opportunities
of attending Church but had we
done our duty. How imperative for every
one to work while it is called day
this woman I am happy to say is
recovering contrary to all expectations
she is only 23 years of age.

did not plan to come down to the
