My dear James
We were anxiously expecting your promised
letter all last week for we heard nothing from
Fanny until Sunday and I had made up my mind
that you were sick, & could not write & should
have written to you, last Monday to inquire after
you - but yours to Fanny satisfied me you were well & then
I determined to wait until we heard from you.
I was very glad to find Bungonia exceeded
your expectations perhaps you will be more comfort
atable there than we anticipated. Fanny and
Miss Norton talk of going up to Berrima for
a few weeks, you must contrive & get them to
Bungonia that Fanny may see the place how
she likes it. I am almost surprised you
