women are going to demand a practical course
taught by practical men and women, for I'm
afraid that we aer sick and tired of theory.
Theory is all right as a background, but it
must be kept at a minimum and be used as
a basis for practical work only.

Should I return to Stanford I would
require housing for my wife as well a myself,
although I am not a yet married. I believe
this can be said to be true of the majority
of returning graduates.

As for extra-curricular activities, I really don't
know. Right now I feel that most of use would
like to be left alone, but we may feel
differently then. Perhaps the war has given
many of us this feeling and I'm not sure
that it is good. Others may not feel as
I do.
