Dear Dr. Tresidder,

Your letter of March 16 has just reached me after being forwarded several times.

In answer to the questions in that letter, I do expect to return to Stanford when I am discharged from the Army. I hope to continue work towards my M.A. and Ph.D. in chemistry, where I was interrupted by the Army. I don't see any reason for changing the work in this field from the Stanford pre-war program.

As far housing accomodations, I shall probably obtain a room in a private home on the camus.
