Dear Dr. Tresidder;

I am one of the many Stanford men in the service to whom you addressed a letter last month. Like many another service man, I hope to take advantage of the G.I. Bill of Rights to complete my education after the war. Of course I want to return to Stanford. However, the first thing that I'd like to be sure of is whether or not the provisions in the bill for gov't financed education will be sufficient to cover expenses at Stanford. Perhaps this question is answered in the bulletin "Educational Opportunities for Veterans" which I have not yet received.

By the time this war is over I'll have married, so housing will be one of my problems at Stanford. Many of the others who return will probably be in the same boat. I wonder if some arrangement can be made for married students in the way of reasonable housing.
