Status: Needs Review

SAT APR 7 '89

6:45 More thought about how to structure history

7:15 -----

8:30 Read Oct 1-19 of 1986. Another review and analysis written Oct 14. Shouldn't be in that book.
Decide maybe this stuff shouldn't be written at all du to security??..
What if I lived with or traveled with someone?

9:15 Call Greg. Tell him I'm going to PV...

9:45 Off to gym. Think more ~ how to show my personal life to myself.
- I don't want a lot of detail, for security
- I want to see it separate from work, so I can see developments close together
- But it'd be nice to see work + friends together
If I'd had lifestyle/romance separate, I would have been able to steer relationship with Bill better, and not had to yank out the specific events on 8/15, 9/7, or 10/15/86
So I decide to use a calendar-page style
- so weekend days are always at same loc
And split it in two havles
- work/career/finance, home/family/friends.
But see BIG LESSON next pg.
With one week/page, it must be the highlights only.
I could still keep the diary with details, but there shouldn't be analysis in diaries, as they
should be in my mind, OR just
evoked by looking a time passing over calendar
And this will tighten up security. I shouldn't have details about John Milovich in binder!
So I'm going for less detail, more structure.
-----Testarossa.
Two other benefits:
- will show balance spent on Work vs Friends
- each boyfriend is at one point in time so no need to have separate detailed analysis.

1:15 But at home I try this out, and it starts to feel very pointless. Perhaps it would've been useful at the time, but I'm so different now, and indeed so is Bill. And I forgot about most of this later in 86 as I traveled more + met Mark Thompson.
SO FORGET THIS SCHEME AS IT HAS JUST AS MUCH DETAIL (NEARLY), AS IT'S HARD TO SAY WHAT WAS IMPORTANT. MOST OF IT WAS.

2:00 But I should read 86 + 87 diaries, so I start with January '86, just to see if there's anything left to do.
And keep eye out for BIG CHANGES I'd forgotten.
As I go, destroy the pages. (over)
