Hi Grandma!
I may see you before you see this, but I thought I'd send along one last post card anyway, just so you know you hadn't been forgotten. I'm obviously in Chicago now, I really like the city itself, it isn't a culture hot-spot but the city is nice so it's o.k. The people I'm staying with are really great too (a friend from school/Cliveden and family) and I keep finding more people I know who live in the area so I'm really having a great time. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been great--it keeps raining.. real strange for a person from California but it apparently isn't all that unusual out here so I just go along with it, although it does put a damper on plans quite often. I guess thats the chance you take wherever you travel anywhere though, so you put up with it, but for a whole trip? Oh well, see you soon I LOVE YOU -Vickie
