My dear Mamma

I feel no more like
Studying than I do like flying
and I have lessons to get for
tomorrow. Well last night
I received a three pound box
of Maskeys - [rum?] but it
was good, from Prof Sanford. -
He paid for the [dare?] that I took
from him.

Friday night our entertainment
went off well & they all said
that I deserved a great deal
of credit, we had pictures from
Life, two were [Gibsonians?]
