The Necakar is, from the standpoint of beauty, even better than the
Rhine valley. The thick fir and pine forests come right down the hillsides
to the river's edge; occasionally there are small orchards and, with
green grass growing between the trees, they look like well manicured parks
among the forests, It is really beautiful countryside and we have a whole
day of it tomorrow on the way to Heilbronn.
