Dear Mom and Dad,

I'm sorry to be so delinquent in my correspondence, but as of late I've really been snowed under by mid term tests and term papers. I wrote a term paper on Genie and the marketing methods usedby Colgate to intorduce it for my marketing course. Uncle Joe helped me very much on it and I intend to send the sales manager of the household division a thank-you note after I finish this letter. I finished Sunday the term paper which was the estimate of the Gross national product for 1959, it was tough (I estimated 480.3 billion, Dad, what do you think). I want to take this opportunity to thank you [Daddy|Dad] for the two sources of reference which you supplied me with. They were a great help, and saved a lot of time. Also I was very happy to hear about the job with Mr. Allen, it sounds like a priceless opportunity which I am very happy to get.

I have a little bad news in the financial dept. I'll need 88 dollars for tuition as I have to regester by mail this semester for next year. It has gone up because of the new union which I am being forced to pay for. The only way that I'll be able to use this wonderful new union is to flunk several courses. I decided to pass the courses and give the union to the future freshmen, another case of my generation carrying the burden for the war babies. Life is tough.

The weather has turned bad for finals, which I am sorry to see, bad weather for finals means that more people study more and the old grade average goes up, which makes it a little harder, but I'm doing my best.

Charlie is doing very well with the Delta Chi's and I really think that he is happier than we would have been with us. However, I still let the house know that he was my cousin and that there seems to be several more horses asses in the world than there are horses. I woudl like to live out again next year, but I'm not sure yet if the house will let me. It might take some deal pulling, but I'm going to worry about that come September, however thinking ahead never hurt me.

About the Standford Fiji chapter, what are you doing for them? Did you mean in your last letter that there is a fund drive for them?

I am finally all over my wart alement. I still have a scab, but it does not bother me and other than that I am feeling fine. I hope that you both are well and I am looking forward to a plesent summer with you.

Your loving son, Kevin
