October 29, 1945

Dear Mother and Daddy,

It's turned awfully
cold all of a sudden. It's
very rainy and windy now and
last week it was very warm
and sunny. I guess the winter
weather has just been putting
itself off.

I only have three
tests this week - One I had
today, that was Spanish.
It wasn't a very hard test
, but it wasn't a very
fair one either. It was supposed
to cover seventy six pages of
translation and reading but
actually it covered on about
four. I have a political science
test on Wednesday and a
German test on Friday. I
can see where I'm really
going to have a lovely week.
Almost as bad as finals.
