The Southern Pacific Co. placed
a car for me in the
Oakland yard a year ago
this month, to hold { ?}
temperance services in.
My first meeting the atten-
dance was very discouraging
indeed - the number being
only eight! but in three
months, our attendance
numbered over sixty,
and upon applications, the
Co. gave us another car.
On Christmas I gave the
school a "Christmas Tree"
in "Kobler hall." The R.R.
Employees made up a piece
