der of the Manarchy, is one Seal fixed
opposite to another, & both inscribed
"VVAIMARIUS PRINCEPS, Ma-
billon says, that he never saw Seals
placed in this Manner.

S. Basil Calabria.
The Monastery of St. Basil in Calabria
was once possessed of some very good Greek
MSS. but Father Merritius the Prefect
of the Order brought most of them to Rome.

It is reported likewise, that there are
many Greek MSS. belonging to these
Religious Houses at Messina in Sicily.
