Mount Casiro.
In the Kingdom of Naples is one of
the most celebrated Monasteries of Italy,
on Mount Casiro. It is sacred to the
Order of St. Benet (who first established
it here) & is famous for the Beauty of
its Situation. Mabillon says, there are
500 MSS. in Vellum, & all bound with
the same Covering which they had 80
years before he was there. Among them are,

1. A valuable MS. of Gregory Nazianzen.
2. One of the 11th Cent. wherein are pain-
ted all the Dresses of the Monks of
