is Room parts of these Shelters are
occupied by exposing the goods on
the outside of the Stores as they
are Sometimes done in our Streets.
At Convenient distances asunder
Say 50 to an 100 yards there are
flights of Stone Steps that go down
from the level of the piaza floors
in to the Streets, which, are
paved in high Style, that is
Some of the Stones not projecting More
than a foot above the others— as
a man with a neck a foot long
would be Said to carry a high head
