And in going down they would
be ready to shoe the wheel which
is putting an Iron Shoe attached
by a chain to the fore wheel axle
tree (instead of our fashion of
locking) under the tire of the hind

me to W^m Tews, where I met with
a kind reception— After a cup of coffee

still entirely (as it were [personal shorthand]) among

accomplished this in a post chaise
and had a pleasant ride among
