after supper; Uncle Edward not so well: Howard and Palmer
both there today; I was at Harewood awhile in the afternoon;
Alban came up, and returned again.

6th. 62 biscuit.
Cloudy part of the day: Eddie and Gilpin Stabler came up:
Lucy at Uncle Samuels; Hutchenson here yesterday th[r]eshing;
62 biscuit : I called at Harewood in the afternoon: Uncle
Edward better.

7th.
A clear warm day: Father Uncle Samuel and myself went
to Walnut Grove, on our way to Gunpowder; went to Tanglewood after
supper:

8th.
Left Walnut Grove at half past 6, called at Aunt Martha's a
little while, then at 301 Lombard St. for Mary Gardner Sr. who
we took to quarterly meeting: arrived at our destination about
half past 12; left father and Mary Gardner at Emerson Lambs;
