A clear hot day: Lucy spent the day at Phils:
I went to Sherwood in the morning for Carrie, brought
Annie down to the gate: Carrie staid all night with
me: William went to Joshua Gilpins in the afternoon to
cut his grass with a Reaper: father at Uncle Samuels in
the morning; at Bentleys, Sherwood, Ashton and Joshua
Gilpins after supper.

27th.
Carrie Marshall went home from meeting: father took
mother to Uncle Samuels in the afternoon, and left her
whilst he went to Cashells to set up a Reaper: Anna
Hallowells baby was buried at 5 oclock: Rained in
the afternoon: Phil and Kate called here after supper
