3^rd month 1870

1^st 6^th Went to meeting on Billie,
Granville come home to dinner
with me, he also stayed to tea
Snowing all afternoon.

2^nd 7^th W^m cutting wood I went to
Hamilsons got my shoe mended
then to Perrie Lizards to a sale.
Bid 153 for a horse. Took Sister
to our sociable in evening met
at Emila Gilpins. Clear & warm.

3^rd 8^th I took log to mill brought load
of lumber back, then hawled two
loads of sleepers ties up to road
on sled. Father & W^m cutting logs.
Charlie Kirk his mother & Aunt Carrie
there to dine & spend the afternoon.
W^m & Evan put on load of
Hay. I with Charlie

4^th 9^th W^m started to town at 5.30 AM with hay
I started at 8 on Billie, sold out in eve
got 1.10 for 3300, Went to see a juggler with
Uncle Fred & Bob in the evening. Father
& Evan cutting & splitting posts. Cloudy
in morn Clear after dinner.

5^th 10^th I helped W^m get some furniture and
then started him for home at 9 AM, I
got home at 4.30 PM. Father at bank
meeting. Evan mawling posts. Clear
