10th month 1869

6th 15 Ben Louisa & Clem getting out peach
blow potatoes. Father coopering till
10 AM. I went to Bone mill got 10.00 lbs
of Disolved bone & Guano half & half
then finished harrowing west corn
field. at 10 AM. Father & I hawled
in 54 bushels of potatoes. After
dinner we started 1 drilling in
wheat in the west field. putting on
2.00 lbs of the mixture to acre.
Ben with hands digging potatoes
till 3 PM. then hawling wood.
Expected Clara and Genie in the
stage. but they did not arrive
Raining a little at times all afternoon.

7th 16 Father & I drilling the west field. finished
at 4.30 PM I then made a fruitless trip
up to Cousin William Schofields after
a sheep. Ben George Louisa & Clem
digging potatoes. finished plowing
out by dinner after which Ben
harrowed & rest picked up.
Paid George & Louisa up in full
Clear & cold & windy

1st 17 Corrie & I went to meeting in
Rockaway from there to Fairhill
to dinner and tea had very pleasant
time. Charlie & I had quite a
chat.
