4^th 6^th Kiah & Jacob cut corn. Ben
hawling stone. Father tending
masons. I getting ready to go
to town. I started at 1 PM
with 5 bbles Apples & 9 bus potatoes
see Pages 205 & 206. Men cutting
corn after dinner. Mother Father
& sister went to the funeral
of Cousin Lizzie Kirk.
I spent the evening at Mrs
Blisses. Saw Gen Grant.

5^th 7^th Got back home at 5 PM.
Ben harrowing corn ground for
wheat. Men cutting corn
in new ground. Father with
masons.

6^th 8^th Kiah left. Jacob & Ben
picking apples. I getting
Uncle Freds wagon & horse.
Father with mason till
dinner after which they left.
Ben & I started to town at
2 PM with 20 bbles of apples
I spent evening at Mrs Jenny
T Woodhulls.

7^th 9^th Ben & self got home at 3.30 PM
Ben went to picking up Apples
for cider I took wagon home.
