6 " 6 I at work on the road, Ben took 44

mowed yard etc - Ned Hills Horse

7 " 7 I at the road, Ben took 26 Bus mixd
wheat to Wheeler & [brot?] up Mrs Woodhill
baggage Neds Horse

2" 9 I at road- Ben & Wm picked up apples
& mended fence - after din Ben lost 1/2
day getting his corn to [Flester?]

3rd 10th I left Leesburg at 5 A M came in company
with Tom Phillips to Washington, from
which place I left at 9.30 A M. to L at 10.30
& walked up here by 12.30, first time I
ever walked it. found them well, and my
self very glad to get back. Ben took
28 bushels of wheat to J L Bond got $1.55
had to leave the bags. Father at work on
the road. 1/2 day. Clear. Mrs Woodhull, Nellie & Charlie here

4th 1st Father on the road, also Ben, Wm & self plowed
& cut the weeds off of a lot in pear orchard
after dinner we harrowed & rubbed it. Clear
