1^st 8 Clear and cold

2^nd 9 I took a load of potatoes ^{37 1/2 Bu} too town got
$1.15 Roger Brooke and self went to see
Forrest play Richelieu. Clowdy and cold

3^rd 10 Come back from town went skating in the
evening it was not very good Clowdy

4^th 11 I went to Beltsville after some peach trees
found them very much frostid Cloudy.

4^th 4 Bertha had a cow calf.

In the last three months we have built
a shed hawled 24 saw logs to the mill for
a hay house and new garden pailings, hawled
potatoes to town the last load of which we got
2.00$ a bushel

6^th 20 Lady had a fine male calf

4^th mo 1^st
4^th 1^st Yesterday and to day we set out 200 peach
trees in the west field, the trees from Richmond
Virginia, Evan harrowing potato ground for oats.
