7th 12 We came back from town got a dollar for
potatoes I had a severe spell of colic comeing up
Sister cam up from Alexandria, I met her at
Stanmore. Rainy

1st 13 Clear.

2nd 14 I plowed some ground for Ned Hill with Nelly
and Rose in morning. John Cook brought the mules
over and plowed out fathers potatoes until dinner
I plowed after dinner. Father helped us all day
Ned had Billy all day. We took a bee hive
after supper. Evan here all day. Clear

11th mo 1867 22 Mother Sister and self went to Baltimore on
a shopping expodition. I bought a suit of clothes
cost 15$. Father bought a pair of [steers?] of Cousin
Willy Brooke. they weighed 16. 07. paid 5.03
cts. They are very poor. Clear

3rd 12 I took a load of fathers potatoes to town got $1.00
bushel. Cold and Clear

4th 13 I brought half a ton of coal up [ment?] day
cost $4.00. Cloudy

5th 14 Father Evan and self meshered up 45 bushels potatoes
in morn in eve B Evan & self took potatoes out of [corn?] house & half in [...]
