Nell Johnsen read words of a beautiful song written by an astronaut,
called "The Moon Riders", in which he "saw the world without
any borders". She asked who mends silver: Abercrombie near Hecht's
in Silver Spring.

Betty Grey had an account of the annual Grid Iron Club show when
they make fun of the politicians. She had a question as to the meaning
of lines in your finger nails. probably a deficiency of some kind.

Helen Farquhar read The Crocuses Are Up. It stated that February
was put into the calendar just to make people realize life is not
all fun and games. February lasts 100 days or so - 6 weeks of which
have already passed when the CPI (Crocus Progress Index) gives
encouraging signs.

The Civic Association announcement was that Peter Kline's talk on
UFOs will be the first Wednesday of April. The Museum announcement was
that the talk at the Community House on Indians will be April 1.
Slides of Old Neighborhood Homes will be April 22.

Betty Grey announced the Sheep Show May 1 and 2 at the Howard
County Fair grounds.

The Friendship Garden Club invited anyone interested in going to
the Japanese Embassy April 8 to meet at Peoples in Olney a 9:30 am.

The SSFS original opera by Barry Morley will be performed
Friday and Saturday nights April 2 and 3 at Clifton at the school.

We adjourned to meet with Camille Slade in May.
