Dorothy Weske and Mary Moore Miller had attended the last meeting
of the Civic Association. Study is being made for housing and improve-
ments.

Announcements were:

St. John's Christmas Bazaar - Saturday November 22
Roast Beef Dinner, Ashton Methodist Church - November 8
Sausage and Pancake Dinner, Lions Club - November 8
American Legion Dinner and Dance - December 11, St. Paul's
Laytonsville.

Reference was made to the Period Costume Fashion Show put on by the
Ladies of St. Johns Olney, commemorating 100 years, which was most in-
teresting.

The meeting was adjourned to meet with Betty Grey in December.
