Esther Stabler - our new member
whom we were pleased to welcome -
had no contribution, but was prevailed
upon to tell something of the good
work her daughter Peggy is doing
at College.

Emma Stabler's article was entitled
"The Gold Badge of Courage" and dealt
with the discharged veteran.

Helen Hallowell read from the "Clubwoman"
of the good work done for
boys and girls of the Peoples Court.
She asked for a show of hands from
those who wished to remain members
of the Book Club and asked that
the check for $2.00 be sent with the
last returned book - also list of books
wanted.

As there was some extra time on hand
Mary Hutton was persuaded to read
some more funny stories.
