1027th meeting.

At the request of the hostess the 1027th
meeting of the Mutual Improvement
Association was held one month later
at Plainfield. 1-3-1945.

Luncheon was served at half past
twelve o'clock, and at two o'clock in
the afternoon the business meeting
was called to order and conducted by
Mary Reading Miller.

The minutes of the last meeting at
this place were read, and the minutes
of the last meeting were read and
accepted.

The Treasurer, Margaret Bancroft,
reported $5 on hand, after paying
$5.00 to the Travelers Aid. Upon
motion, duly seconded and carried,
it was voted to send the remaing
$5.00 to the National Symphony Orchestra
Drive - thus leaving the treasury
devoid of funds.
