Just now I kissed Jean and said
"thee's a treasure", and he answered
me by saying "Poperties a treasure".
Jean has been so distressed since
he found out that "Amére would
turn old like Prissy." He was
talking to Mrs. M.about it last
night, and finally Mrs. M. said to
him - "What will thee do, Jeannot,
when Amére turns old?" and
Jean answered quick as a flash
"Take care of you". that pleased
Mrs. Moore very much.
