I am glad if that [Poiton?] sketch
pleases thee ever so little. I thought
I would ask thee to hunt up that
Monograph on the Chateau at La
Mothe for me, and I would use
the historic touches it would give
me. I just love to write and I wish
I could produce something really
worth while but that can only come
with hard work and thoughtful effort
as thee says. I am so glad thee is
using models - it is economy, dear.
Clara went off to Boston yesterday
- she is a character if ever there
was one - preserve me from rooming
with her there, if there was ever a
person who cluttered up the premises
Clara is that individual
Alll love and hope & trust, -
Margaret.

My darling -
I worried not hearing from thee,
but I knew thee just did not fee like
writing. There are times when even
between us who love each other so
closely a letter is an effort, and it
is best to leave it unpenned at
those seasons. I wish I could take
thy dear head in my arms, and
kiss thee and I am sure some
of the care and worry would go,
thee will have to let me love Thee a
great deal when thee comes to make
up for all these weeks where my
heart has asked for thee to be near.
I enclose such a sweet letter from
Bobbin on our Anniversary - dear
Bobbin- she is always thoughtful
and lovely, but her letters sadden
me these last months I seem to
feel the effort to be herself when
she feels like a pretender all the
