The regular monthly meeting of the Olney Norbeck Citizen's
Protective Association was held at the Manor Club
Wed. May 29. We were called to order by the pres.
Mr. English at 8:15. Minutes read & adopted. Mrs.
Whitlock had filled out form requested by Welfare
Board & sent it to them. The Hosp. ad had been attended
to. Mr. Beane reported a rumor of widening
of his pike to a four lane road & take the land
on west side of road. It has been surveyed as far
as Mr. Beane's property. He hopes to have more information
by next meeting. Miss Beard a resident
of the Manor Club presented her problem. She lives
near the south entrance said entrance being
very dangerous due to trees etc., and she would
like to know how to proceed to secure adequate marking
at this point so as to let the main road traffic know
there is such an entrance. Mr. Beane chr. of our
road com. will take this matter up with the State
Roads commission & the county commissioners.
