Special Meeting
Stanmore Jan'y 3 1894
Called to order 7.30 P. M. with
Prest. Mary B Thomas in the chair.
The object of the meeting was stated
to be a discussion of the advisability
of holding a public meeting in Balto this
winter for the purpose of enlarging our sphere
of action. On motion of Wm W Moore it
was resolved that if approved by the annual
meeting it should adjourn after
electing its officers, to meet in Balto
in February, and there select the delegates
to the National Convention in Washington.
The meeting was informed that the lecture
Hall of Friends' Meeting House in Balto was at
our service free of charge, and Caroline
H: and Sarah T. Miller were appointed to
committee to secure speakers and especially
to invite Susan B Anthony and Anna Shaw
to address the Balto meeting if held; and
date of meeting be fixed if possible
for Feby 9th
