The roll was called with only 9 members responding and no visitors. So many of the members were unable to attend on account of canning and other engagements. The work of the club was discussed and we were reminded to have our dollars earned by the October meeting. It was also decided that each member make or purchase one garment for a boy or girl between the ages of 10 and 12 yrs. and run these over to the Social Service, as they are very badly needed. The meeting adjourned and we all enjoyed the social hour and the most delicious refreshments served by Miss. Butler. We were invited to meet with Mrs. Bluson in October. Martha Barnsley Sec.
