Asparagus plants can be set
out now if you do not want to
wait until spring which is a
better time to set out [?] box plants
than fall, but if done now, they
should be well protected.
Six inches is a good length to
make box cuttings.
Primrose seed over 6 months
old can not be expected to be any
good.
Our attention was called to the
Ratnor Herbarium at Chevy Chase
as something well worth visiting.
There will be an entertainment
at Sherwood for benefit of the
Library on October 15th.
