asparagus and raspberries this fall
as it would have a tendency to
force a growth that might be killed by
cold weather, but spread it out
& dry thoroughly & apply in the spring.

The thought was expressed
that it was probably not alone
the variey on the carrot grown that
makes them sweet, they need
plenty of sunshine & irrigation
to produce the finest flavor.

There is general complaint
of the quality and quantity of tomatoes
this season. If they have
rot, better change the location for
planting.

Frederick McReynolds had cut
off his asparagus & new growth
was putting up & should he use it.
Some thought it might injure
next years crop & be better not
cut it.

Anthol is a good preparation
for killing ants in flower pots &
Andrew Adams has found mole fume
good for destroying or driving away moles.
