Mr. Jones is troubled with
worms in his asparagus: he had
worked lime in the ground & it
was doing better but what could
help more. Salt or [kennet?] might
be a benefit.

Salt & lime left from packing
eggs has no value & might as
well be thrown away.

A blight in early cabbage is
quite general. An entire change
in location of planting is thought
advisable & may help in preventing
the trouble.

Readers for next meeting -
Hobart Hutton & Edith F. Green.

Adjourned to meet on Aug. 3rd
with Albert & Lena Stabler at
"Edgewood".

M. S. Miller - Sec -

We all know what to expect
on a visit to the Falling Green
gardens, we were not disappointed
this time. The flower beds were
full of thrifty plants & beyond
were the well-cared-for rows of
vegetables. The luxuriant rhubarb
attracted our special attention
