display of vegetables.
No severe drought expressed
in the quality and quantity.
Cloverley had eggplant of
rare quality with a large
display of the vegetables.
Tanglewood a full baskey
with many varieties shown
and exhibits of
mint and interest.
Little fruit, August flowers,
lovely roses from Edith Hallowell's
garden. Graceful lillies
brought by Helen Farquhar.
No reports from Community Council
to be acted upon by us.
No report from the committee appointed
to move the Elm Trees on
Meeting House lane. The committee
was continued.
Frederick and Jessie McReynolds
were unanomously elected and
received as members of the
Horticultural Society of Sandy Spring.
