over Cannes [canes?] carefully - tying new growth to
prsvent damage from storm. Bank celery with
dirt
The assistant Secty's report showed that
most everyone present had taken the interest
and trouble to prepare a very fine exhibit,
really unusual even for us.
Cousin Helen Hallowell reported that her
investigation Committee had made a calander [calendar]
which very nearly covered the month.
The Committee recommended the second
or third Wednesday in the month. After much
discussion the Committee was continued
until next month, when the vote will be
taken.
