Totaling 716 Chickens and 5 gosling. At the
May meeting last year 908 chickens, 3 goslings
and 3 turkeys were reported.
The assistant secretary reported exibits [exhibits]
from nearly every place represented. A most beautiful
collection of flowers.
Questions.
Is it too late to plant strawberries, It is rather
late, but worth trying.
When is the best time to transplant rhubarb.
Either very early in the evening, when in hte first peeps
thru' the ground, or in August.
Sow late Cabbage and the last of May.
A count, was asked, of those who had planted
lima beans tin the open ground. It will be
interesting to hear from these people
at the June meeting.
