What do you do to raize enough
winter onions to last all winter,
keeping in good condition? Sow seed
very early and do not sow as thick
as for sets. Dry thoroughly. Some one
suggested that the most satisfactory
thing was to buy them in market.
The prize-taker was recommended. It
is always planted at "The Maples" and
is most satisfactory as it keeps well
and does not sprout so quickly.
