twenty-four white-faced bumble-bees with a fly-swatter.

He is very much interested in
the unsightly bill-boards along the roadways.
There are 150 of these between the
district line and Ashton. He wishes,
as do we all, that something could
be done to do away with them. He
said he would write the Standard
Oil Co, objecting to their sign in front
of "Knowlton", and see if they are in
ernest [earnest] about coöperating with the
people.

What do you do to raize enough
winter onions to last all winter,

very early and do not sow as thick
as for sets. Dry thoroughly. Some one
suggested that the most satisfactory
thing was to buy them in market.
The prize-taker was recommended. It
is always planted at "The Maples" and
is most satisfactory as it keeps well
