the highest terms of our beloved Ex-Pres.
Harding
, & Mr. Wagner of the Baptist Church offered a prayer.

Cousin Al. offered the following to the Society -- Resolved -- That we mourn the loss of the Pres. of the U. S., Warren G. Harding, who has sacrificed his life in the service of his country.

The Society heartily endorsed the resolution, & a copy of it was ordered placed on our minutes.

Warren G. Harding.
He was a torch held in God's careful hands.
The lamp has failed. The light shines clear along
The crowded roadways, where the people throng --
His soul's great light illumines all the land".

to find out about planting apple seeds. The grapes at The Picket Gate are falling off very much. Some others report fine bunches. Have any seen Japanese beetles? The have
seen them at Ingleside.

The Housekeeper at the hospital wants flint,
an invitation was extended to all, for donations.
