represented. All trees and shrubs already
growing there, & those to come all to be

The Forethought suggested that it was the
gardener who needed watching from now on
when the many diversions of mid-summer
makes it hard to "stay on the job", but that

early summer isn't to go for naught.

A communication was read from the
Norman Price Post of the American Legion
asking for our co-operation in the purchasing
of some large fire-extinguisher to be
placed in the villages of the neighborhood
"where they would have proper care & be of
ready access to be taken at once to the scene
of the fire in any automobile available"
The members all approved of the proposition
& several subscriptions have been received.
Then we were all asked to name a delegate
to the Advisory Council having the subject
in charge, & co-operating with the
American Legion.

The Pres. asked Margaret Bancroft to
serve as such.
